The Ozette Triangle is an incredibly beautiful trail that winds through lush forests, along stunning beaches, and past rugged sea stacks. With panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the Olympic Mountains, it's truly a breathtaking and unforgettable hike.
We'll spend three days, two nights along the trail, hiking a little over 3 miles a day. Our short hiking days give us plenty of time to deepen our connect with nature and mindfulness practice.
This trail is a great trail for beginners or those looking for an easier backpacking trip. In total we will cover, 9.5 miles roundtrip, 600 ft)
Our yoga sessions are designed to help you connect with your body, breath, and the world around you, while also building strength, flexibility, and balance.
You'll also have the chance to participate in a guided meditation session, designed to help quiet your mind, reduce stress, and cultivate a deeper sense of inner peace and clarity.
Whether you're an experienced yogi or new to the practice, the yoga and mindfulness portion of the retreat is sure to leave you feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and inspired.
During our time together we'll enjoy simple and delicious backcountry meals. With lighters in hand, we'll use our camp stoves to warm up our meals.
Designed for both convenience and nutrition, we'll use thoughtfully selected dehydrated dinners to ensure you have the sustenance needed to refuel after a day of exploration. For breakfast, we keep it simple yet nourishing, offering hearty oatmeal to kickstart your morning adventures.

Arrive in Seattle and make your way to our hotel. We'll give you space to settle in and unwind from your day of travels.
We'll meet bright and early in the morning for breakfast and introductions at the hotel. Our guides will go over gear and make sure you have everything you need for a safe and comfortable weekend together.
After we check-out, we'll pack into our shuttle and make our way to the Olympic Coast. With salt water in the air, we'll make our way to camp where we'll enjoy a beach yoga session and west coast sunset.
Today we'll wait for low tide to hike the next three-mile stretch of beach. Along the way we'll have the opportunity to visit petroglyph and meet some of the coast's wildlife (whales, sea lions, seals and bears have been known to frequent the area)!
When we arrive at our next camp we'll enjoy a mediation session on the beach along with our final sunset yoga session.
Our last morning together we'll wake up to the sounds of the ocean and enjoy our final breakfast on the beach.
We'll finish the last three miles of the Ozette Triangle as we head back to the trailhead. We'll return back to Seattle and make two drop off stops: Seatac airport and hotel in Seattle.
"The trip is well organized and I got meet so many awesome people. I love the smaller group size which made the experience more intimate. I was pushed out of my comfort zone which will make me more confident in my next backpacking trips.
Stop overthinking and just do it! No regrets. SMM people are very supportive and welcoming. They also provide gear if you need it, a great way to try out backpacking without committing."
- Lindsey G (Yoga & Backpacking 2022)
