Join us for a weekend of exploring some of Utah's more beautiful landscapes, including Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.
With two national parks within an hour's drive, we promise you'll be exploring some of nature's most beautiful landscapes. From the iconic sandstone walls to the thrilling rapids of the Colorado River, Moab is a place until anywhere else in the world. On our way to dinner in the evenings, we'll have the opportunity to take in the town of Moab and enjoy its charming downtown.
We'll be hosting our retreat at the Field Station Moab, near the heart of downtown Moab. Our hotel comes equipped with spacious rooms, outdoor pool and jacuzzi and onsite beverage and snack bar. All guests will be staying in shared double queen rooms
We will provide simple breakfasts and bagged lunches from local bakeries each day of our adventures. In the evening we'll make our way down Main St for group dinners before heading back to our rooms to rest up for another day of exploration.
Whether you want to hike everyday or try something new, our time together is the perfect opportunity to push yourself in a supportive environment. Over our time together you'll have the opportunity to connect with nature through hiking, rock climbing and rappelling. Each activity will be led by experience and trained instructors to ensure you learn to the safest practices.

We will host this retreat rain or shine. If the weather is poor we will offer a different location or activity. We have chosen these dates because they present us the driest weather without being too hot, but we can't predict the weather.
Once you arrive and get settled into our accommodations for the weekend, we'll meet for dinner and introductions. We'll have plenty of snacks and appetizers to fill up on as you mingle and get to know the other participants. Once everyone arrives, we'll have formal introductions and share more about the weekend ahead!
Check in is available at 4:00 pm. We'll have shuttle available from the CNY Airport to our accommodations in Moab at 5:00 pm.

Today we'll stay as one group as we head to Arches National Park to explore the one-of-a-kind arches on the Utah desert. We'll start the day driving to the top of Arches Scenic Drive and hiking a couple of the parks curated trails to its beautiful, grand arches. On our way out of the park, we'll make a detour and hike to the park's most famous spot, Delicate Arch.
Meals provided: Light breakfast, bagged lunch, and restaurant dinner.
Hiking details: Delicate Arch - 3 miles, 480ft
We will go on multiple hikes throughout the day, always with time in-between to refuel. The total miles we hope to hike is 7 miles but participants can choose to opt out and relax if they don't wish to partake in every hike
We'll break up into two groups today, one for hiking and the other for rock climbing. For those staying on the ground, we'll head to Canyonland National Park If you're ready to try something new, our guides will teach you the ropes and get you climbing rocks in no time If you prefer to keep your feet on the ground, don't worry, we'll get epic views of the park from up high on our hike.

For dinner we will head to the Moab food truck pod so everyone can branch out. Participants are responsible for paying for their dinner this night.
Hike details: 3.6 mi, 908 ft, opportunity to extend depending on how the group is feeling
Climbing details: 4 hours of climbing, Routes: 5.6 - 5.9
Today we'll break up into two groups depending on whether you want to hike or give rappelling a try. For those of us hiking, we'll be heading back to Arches National Park to hike Devil's Garden Loop, one of the park's most beautiful trails with eight arches along the way! For those of us choosing to spend the day honing your rope skills with our expert guides at Bow and Arrow Canyon.
Meals provided: Light breakfast, bagged lunch and restaurant dinner.
Hike details: 7.9 miles, 1,085 ft
Unfortunately Sunday means the end to our time together. In the morning we'll gather our things, check out of our hotel and begin the journey home, or to our next adventure.

The majority of women come to our retreats alone - somewhere around 90%. If you are hesitating to join because you would be coming solo, please know that we expect a majority of our participants to be joining by themselves, seeking community.
We generally have a wide range of ages at our retreats. The average tends to fall anywhere between the ages of 28 to 45. But we have had quite a few women in their 60's join as well. It really is up to the attitude and physical ability of the participant.
YES! This event is very approach about for those who do not have experience hiking. Each day we will hike a max of 5 miles and will have opportunities to rest and sit back while other hike further.

We have a very strict cancellation policy. Please review it before committing to this retreat.
We know you love your fur babies but unfortunately, we cannot allow pets on any of our group trips or clinics.
All of our retreats are rain or snow or smoke or shine. We do our best to choose dates where this won't be an issue, but it's always a possibility. Even more so with the changing climate. If weather is severe, we needed we may need to cancel our climbing and/or whitewater rafting days, thankfully we're able to hike in many conditions,.
If poor weather will ruin your experience we suggest that you purchase "cancel for any reason" trip protection as we will not be providing any refunds due to weather related issues.
If you plan on flying in, we recommend flying into the Canyonlands Field Airport (CNY) and taking a taxi or our shared shuttled to our accommodation. If you plan to drive, we will provide the address for accommodations in Moab, UT after you register for the event.
We will provide more information on transportation to Moab, UT in our welcome packet.
Yes, after you register we'll send you a questionnaire where you will be able to inform of us of any dietary needs. We'll be close to a grocery store and access to lots of restaurants that can accommodate a range of dietary needs.
