Whether you were a camp kid or not, now's your chance to create new memories and experience the kind of Summer Camp you've always dreamed of—a week filled with rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, yoga, and much more.
Each day you'll have the opportunity to choose from our planned activities and learn a new skill from our team of expert instructors. Worried you'll feel in over your head? We've designed every aspect of our Summer Camp program to feel welcoming, inclusive, and engaging for beginner to intermediate-level participants. Come one, come all!
Created around the belief that supportive environments build trust—with ourselves and others—and that the best way to learn is through play, our Summer Camp Is the perfect time to try new things, play as much as you want, and expand what you previously thought was possible.
Each day you get to choose your schedule. Don't want to climb? That's totally fine! You can go kayaking instead. Or maybe you want to climb everyday? You can do that too.
We're teaming up with other incredible guiding companies to bring you a variety of program options to choose from.
Whether you’ve never kayaked before or you’re a seasoned paddler, there’s always something to learn on a sea kayaking tour. During the day you’ll practice proper paddling techniques while exploring the Skagit Bay.

Moondance Sea Kayaks will provide kayaks, paddles, personal flotation devices (PFD), spray skirts, and dry bags.
We will be offering kayaking everyday.
Fitness Requirement: Kayaking is a simple activity that is often undertaken at an easy, strain-free pace. It just requires moderate overall fitness. People who regularly engage in swimming, bicycling, and hiking are already in good shape for kayaking.
Size Limitations: Each kayak has a 250 lbs maximum per cockpit. The largest PFD is XXXL. The kayaks provided are sit-in sea kayaks with cockpits having a weight limit of 250lbs each. Every paddler must be comfortable getting out of the kayak in the event of a capsize. If there are plus-size folks with questions about fit, please reach out to us!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical requirements vary by activity and are noted above. As a general note, we try to make all of our events accessible to beginners. If you want to stay back at camp one day and relax on the beach that is absolutely okay!

We will host this event rain, shine, or smoke. So much goes in to planning an event of this size that we cannot afford to refund guests if the environment interferes. All actives are included in your registration cost. After you are registered for Summer Camp, you will receive a separate email with instructions on how to select your activities (rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, etc)
The majority of women come to our retreats alone - somewhere around 90%. If you are hesitating to join because you would be coming solo, please know that we expect a majority of our participants to be joining by themselves, seeking community.
We generally have a wide range of ages at our retreats. The average tends to fall anywhere between the ages of 24 to 45, with the majority of our participants being in their 30s. But we have had quite a few women in their 60's join as well. It really is up to the attitude and physical ability of the participant.
