No one ever expects to get injured, sick, or have a family emergency the week prior to a trip, but it happens. Probably more often than you think. 

We put months of work into each retreat/event, and we budget for them to sell out. The staff we hire, transfers we book, campsites/hotels we reserve, and how we market depends on how many people sign up. Last-minute cancellations, regardless of the circumstance, require additional work, and the later the cancellation the less of a chance we have to fill the vacant spot. 

We have decided to apply our cancellation policy consistently, across the board, otherwise our staff falls into the position of deciding who deserves a refund and who doesn't. 

To protect from unforeseen circumstances that may lead to a cancellation and a loss of investment, we strongly suggest that all She Moves Mountains' participants purchase trip protection. 

If we have to cancel a event due to Covid restrictions or weather, we will issue an 85% refund or 100% credit in the form of an e-gift certificate.
