At the Intermediate Movement Clinic, we’ll teach a variety of climbing techniques to help you move efficiently and skillfully on the rock.
This clinic is all about climbing. We’ll introduce a variety of movement skills, covering footwork, body position, dynamic moves, and more. We’ll do some demonstrations and drills on the ground, but the best way to learn how to climb is by climbing, so we’ll spend most of the day on the wall.
We’ll set up a variety of routes from 5.8 - 5.10+ (approximately) to try out different techniques. Depending on the location, we’ll climb slabs, face climbs, cracks, or even some combination of all three. Our instructors will coach you through each route and help you apply specific movement skills, depending on the style of the climb.

The majority of women come to our clinics alone - somewhere around 95%. If you are hesitating to join because you would be coming solo, please know that we expect a majority of our participants to be joining by themselves, seeking community.
We generally have a wide range of ages at our retreats. The average tends to fall anywhere between the ages of 26 to 45. But we have had quite a few women in their 60's join as well. It really is up to the attitude and physical ability of the participant.
We have a very strict cancellation policy. Please review it before committing to this retreat.
